Maserati MC12 Stradale Leads Record-Breaking Sale
The highlight of the auction was the 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale, selling for $5,202,500. This result makes it the most valuable modern Maserati ever sold, surpassing previous records. Competitive bidding in the room and over the phone created an electric atmosphere that defined the sale.
Koenigsegg CCXR and BMW M1 Procar Stand Out
Modern collectibles continued to impress. The 2008 Koenigsegg CCXR, one of only 11 produced, set a record at $3,222,500. Similarly, the 1980 BMW M1 Procar, preserved in unraced condition, reached $1,600,000. These results demonstrate the growing demand for rare performance vehicles.
Mercedes, Hennessey, and American Performance Icons
Additional record prices included the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Prototype at $1,022,500 and the 2011 Hennessey Venom GT at $588,000. American performance cars also shone, including two 2017 Dodge Viper ACR models setting new benchmarks.
Japanese Collectibles Attract Collectors
Broad Arrow offered its largest selection of Japanese collector cars to date. The 1999 Nissan Skyline CRS GT-R V-Spec sold for $692,500, while the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi reached $235,200. The 1995 Toyota Supra RZ also exceeded pre-sale estimates, closing at $80,640.
Classic Car Highlights
Historic models drew significant attention as well. The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 sold for $2,562,500, the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso reached $1,622,500, and the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe achieved $1,902,500. Other rare classics, including a 1962 Shelby 260 Cobra and a 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT, commanded strong results.
